Black Lives Matter

Racism is a public health crisis. From the brutal murders of George Floyd, Daunte Wright, and countless others to the disproportionately higher COVID-19 infection and death rates, the health and well-being of the Black Community is jeopardized by deep systemic racism.

As our nation’s institutions reckon with this systemic racism, Health Access MN will continue to advocate for racial justice and health equity. We strive to achieve health justice through both our daily work to break down barriers to health insurance and in our broader efforts to change systems and policies to achieve racial equity. Our efforts seek to ensure the physical, mental, and social well-being of the Black Community and other historically oppressed communities.
