Make An Appointment
When you call, we’ll ask a few questions to understand how we can best help you. Often, the next step will be to schedule an appointment for you with one of our navigators. Here are some steps to follow to get ready for your appointment:
1. Gather the documents you’ll need.

2. Have your MNsure username and password.
If you have ever created a MNsure account, even if you have never used it, it’s very important to have your username and password for your appointment. Health Access MN is not allowed to retain your password and we are unable to reset it for you. If you are unsure of your username or password, please reset it before your appointment by 1) calling MNsure at 1-855-366-7873 or 2) visiting MNsure’s website.
3. If you have a job, talk to your employer.
If you have an offer of employer insurance, it may make you ineligible for MinnesotaCare or premium tax credits. (Medical Assistance is not affected.) If you’re not sure if you have an offer of employer insurance, read this, or ask your employer. You may need your employer to fill out Appendix A to submit with your application or renewal.
4. Be ready for our call.
Be ready for one of our navigators to call you at the time of your appointment. Because our staff is working remotely, their calls may come from phone numbers in the (651) and (507) area codes.
